Lewiston, MI is a small, unincorporated community found in Michigan’s Montmorency County. About 1,400 people lived in this community as of 2010, and its modern history dates back to 1892. That year, Lewiston was formally established, and the Lewiston Area Historical Society Museum is presently located in one of the community’s original houses. Lewiston can be found on East Twin Lake in the northeastern portion of Lower Michigan.
